Give the gift of learning this Christmas. Add more value to Apple products by sending an expert around to setup, synchronise, troubleshoot, and teach how to get the most out of the devices.

Mature Clients
People of all ages are acquiring new Apple products. For some it's a hand-me-down iPhone, others have been 'forced' to use an iPad! This seems to be happening more among the older generation as they're being instructed to ‘get with the times’ by their bossy offspring or friends. The good news is it doesn't need to be a daunting exercise. I have great patience and many clients who are beginners.
At Setup Sync & Learn this has been a very popular area, with people booking for or referring me to their parents or older friends. Most people, even if they have the knowledge, don’t have the time or the patience to teach, not to mention those who have other constraints like living far away. I have clients in their 60s right up to in their 90s, so never say never! For more information about this have a listen to my first audio podcast here. All you do is click and listen - go on, give it a go.
It's on again...
3 consecutive Tuesdays starting next week!
This is a private group session - it’s based on the idea of a Tupperware Party, but I call it a “TechAware Party”.
The idea being that 1 person hosts the party for a small group of friends/acquaintances (up to about 4 people is ideal) who have any of the Apple mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch). Alternatively, everybody may have a portable Apple notebook computer, and in either case I am there to teach how to use and get the most out of these devices along with tips, tricks, and recommendations.
Being a group, the per person cost is reduced and this could run for 1-3 hours by choice. You may also like to tailor the group to your specific needs and we can discuss options and topics that will be most useful.
The difference to Tupperware will be that I’m not selling products, as you already have them, so no pressure!
I've recently added a testimonials page to my website. I believe it's important for prospective clients to see what existing clients have to say about Setup Sync & Learn, and I strongly encourage people to give honest feedback so that we can continue to provide a fantastic service and constantly find ways to improve.

The flyer really says it all...
PayPal seems to be a good safe way for people to pay for things online, so we’ve made this available to customers who would like to purchase gift vouchers from SSL.

This website is a work in progress, so I hope you keep coming back to discover what’s new at Setup Sync & Learn.
Whilst SSL is Sydney based right now, Perth and Melbourne are next in line.
I wanted to share my news and excitement about what will be a great year in 2012.
I am proud to announce my fully fledged business called Setup Sync & Learn (SSL). I will continue to focus on personal and private sessions for setting up devices, synchronising Apple computers with mobile devices, troubleshooting, and teaching.
I have also expanded to include these services for small & home business users, and to schools as well.
The education sector has become increasingly interested in using Apple products such as the MacBook Air and the iPad for a number of reasons - their ease of use, quality performance and stability, portability (removing unnecessary weight from a school bag), and the kids think they’re fun to use!
Another area that I will be concentrating on is the private group session - it’s based on the idea of a Tupperware Party, but I’m calling it a “TechAware Party”.

Special thanks to those who have already supported me in building my new venture, and if you are happy to refer me to others I will be most grateful.
Wishing everybody all the very best for what it is you wish to achieve in 2012 and hope to see you soon.
